The Right Shackle for Spring-Under Trucks
Spring-under-frame leaf spring setups need a shackle sized for the additional arc of travel that comes with a longer spring. Stock shackles from a spring-over setup are too short and limit droop; incorrect aftermarket shackles can introduce pinion angle problems or bind at the limits of travel.
The GIANT MotorSports 12\” shackle kit is designed specifically for mounting 62\” or pre-runner springs on Toyota, Chevy S-10, Nissan, and Ford Explorer trucks in spring-under configurations. Frame mounts and bushings included in the bolt-on version; WIY kit available for builders who prefer to weld their own mounts.
